Tuesday, March 2 Texas Longhorns Open Practice Spring family friendly event info: Horns’ first practice in pads on Tuesday, March 2, as well as the first workout following the High School Coaches clinic, on Monday, March 8 (also in pads), will be open to the public. Friday, March 5 Fairytale Threads Spring Consignment Event Family friendly event info: Don't miss this great kids' consignment event. Any item marked "reduce" will be 1/2 price on Saturday! Fairytale Threads is proud to support the Round Rock Area Serving Center. They do so much to help our neighbors in need. Help support them by bringing a canned food item to donate at the door, donate your change at the register, or take a chance in the raffle for the new Step 2 kitchen! Raffle tickets are just $1 each. Proceeds go to the Round Rock Area Serving Center. Nature Nights at Wilflower Center Spring Family friendly event info: Tonight's theme is Hill Country Astronomy.This event is part of a special series of evening programs designed to share the wonders of nature in Central Texas. Each program will explore new topics and features a habitat hike, thematic crafts, and activities galore! Saturday, March 6 Camp Fire USA Balcones Council Celebrates 100 Years Family friendly Spring event info: The Balcones Council of Camp Fire USA, which serves families in 10 central Texas counties, is commemorating 100 years of Camp Fire by planting 100 trees in Central Texas! With support from TreeFolks, City of Austin and Keep Austin Beautiful, the event will be filled with a variety of activities for youth and includes special appearances by Smokey the Bear and Woodsy owl. Tree planting begins at 9:00 a.m.Refreshments will be provided. The event is community-wide open to everyone currently involved in Camp Fire, our esteemed alumni across Central Texas and the interested public. Daffodil Festival Festival admission is free. Activities include free concerts & live entertainment, free children’s games and prizes, a raffle and live auction, food booths offering festival treats, and an array of artists, boutiques, jewelers, craftsmen, and service providers on hand to share their talents.
